Lunch Cooked on Board, La Maddalena

A Sardinian lunch, cooked while we sail

Lunch is one of the best parts of the day, and it is cooked on board by Riccardo, who cooked his own restaurant before becoming a skipper. We anchor in a quiet bay, you swim and snorkel, and when you come back the table is ready.

What we serve on the small group day trip

– Aperitif: a board of local cured meats and cheeses, ricotta mustia with honey, and olives.
– Bruschetta with Sardinian tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, basil and oregano.
– A homemade pasta course, usually malloreddus with the Captain’s ragu.
– To finish: a taste of mirto, the Sardinian liqueur.
– During the day: coffee and biscuits in the morning, fresh fruit and cold drinks in the afternoon.
Wine, beer and soft drinks are included.

Allergies and diets

When you book, Gabriella contacts you personally to ask about allergies and food preferences. Vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose-free menus are always ready, so no one eats less than the others.

On the private boat: your menu

If you book the whole boat, we plan the lunch together before the day. Last season, for a couple, the Captain cooked low-temperature squid and tagliolini with prawns and a French-style prawn bisque. Fish, meat or vegetarian: you tell us what you like, and we build the menu.

Where we eat

Usually in Porto della Madonna at Budelli or at Santa Maria, depending on wind and sea. After lunch we sail to another quiet bay of Spargi for the last swim.
